Squidoo : Lenses by Beaddoodler

Hello. My name is Jennie Hennesay AKA SilverMist AKA The Bead Doodler.
I'm interested in any kind of alternative healing and natural living.
Hand crafting has been a part of my life as long as I can remember, so it's not surprising that beads captured my attention. I'm always looking for new things to do.
Not too long after I taught myself to bead, I decided I needed to make patterns, just in case I wanted to repeat an item (like that's gonna happen!). ...

The Bead Doodler creates some very unique jewelry using mostly seed beads and a few larger accent beads, cabochons, etc. Healing crystals or natural stones are prominent in many of the creations.
Her work has been featured in Bead Inspired Canada, an online beadwork magazine (even though she isn't Canadian).

Patterns for some jewelery are also available.

Why Use Natural Soap?

I've been a soap crafter for about 10 years. The first benefit I saw from using my hand made soap was that I didn't have to use lotion as often.

Tribute to Mothers

My earliest childhood memories are of being aware that my Mother, Vera Goebel Anderson, was always there. When I couldn't find her, I can remember the feeling of utter panic, the emptiness, the terror of being alone. Of course that didn't last long because she was, in fact, always within hearing distance, and very quickly responded to my frantic cries.

Accessorizing with Beads

We're all familiar with the classic string of pearls, or multiple lengths of colored beads. These are some time honored accessories, but beads can be so much more.

There are many bead artists who, with various stitches that are hundreds of years old, create true works of art in the forms of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets, etc. with beads of various sizes and thread of different types. Some even incorporate common household items such as buttons into their beadwork.

Beaddoodler

Jennie Hennesay AKA The Bead Doodler has "lived many lives" in her life time. It seems life is all about change and starting over. But even starting over with next to nothing isn't the end of the world, it's the beginning of a new path and each new beginning brings different blessings, and joys along with the trials.

The most recent start over didn't involve loosing material things like house, furnishings, vehicle, or loved ones, just the ability to hold a steady job so she's learning to earn an income from home. She's tenacious and independent, so she'll be fine!
