If you have one of the Amazon Kindle's you more than likely you are looking for ways to make your kindle pop or just for a way to protect it. Buying skins are one way to do that. I now have a skin on my kindle 2 and I love it alot. It does take some time to get it on just right, but it is well worth it in my book that is. Its not all about the look, but to keep it from getting dirty. With a skin, if it gets dirty, you can always buy a new one. You can't do that with a kindle.

Norton 360 or Mcafee Total Protection?

In order to keep our computer's safe, we need a antivirus to protect it. Some people like one over the other and yet others like the free ones over the paid ones. For me, I like the paid ones over the free ones. I have used both Mcafee and Norton at some point, plus I have tried the free ones in the past.

If you are a Pepsi drinker, then this is the lense for you. As long as I could remember, I have always been a pepsi drinker. I love the sweetness of pepsi. I have even tried coke and RC and even some of the store brands but its not as good as pepsi. When I was younger I was not hooked on it like I am now. I am definitely addicted to Pop/soda. I think my addiction slowly came around when I started working as it was easy to to get my hands on. I worked for restaurants since I was 18.

Star Trek has been around since the mid-1960s. That was before my time as I was born in the late 1970s. I started watching Star Trek: The Next Generation in the 1990s when I was in high School. At first I did not like it, but it grew on me and I was hooked. Growing up in my grandparent's house when I was younger probably had a small factor in me actually getting into it in the first place. My grandfather loved Star Trek, so that was always in the back of my mind. My grandfather had died right before I had started junior high, so he never was able to see any of the other series that were to come out in my lifetime. The Star Trek Franchise consisted of The original Star Trek, The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise. There are a total of eleven movies. The last being called Star Trek.

Mix Dog Breeds

I have grown up with dogs all of my life. My first mixed breed dog went by the name of Candy. I was only five at the time when she was brought her home, but I still remember that day like it was tomorrow. Candy was a German Shepard and collie mix. She was sweet as she can be and she had a dominating Shepard personality. She lasted til the age of 15. Currently I have two more mixed breed dogs. One is a Border Collie Mix and the other is a German shepard Mix. This lens is an ode to all the Mixed breed dogs out there and to my own in my life who have made my life interesting.

This is another appetizer type of food that I love. Some years ago, my mother started making this and I liked it, so here I scour the internet to find the recipes to try out. At the moment I am not sure which one she makes. I am pretty sure its a cream cheese based dip. I also do remember that she always bought the taco sauce mix for it, but that is about it.

The first time I had ever tasted party pinwheels, I was hooked. Its a great tasting appetizer that uses cream cheese. Because I loved it so much I had to go find the recipe for it. Here, I have scoured the internet for different varieties of this great, tasty appetizer. Let me tell you one thing, that even though there is a recipe for it, it does not mean you have to have everything that is on the ingredient list. The items that I say is mandatory is the cream cheese and the ranch dressing mix. The rest you can let your imagination go wild. You also may have noticed that only one recipe has it where you wrap up the pinwheels in foil. I highly recommend using that no matter which recipe you end up using as it works great. When I do make them, I typically make them with just cream cheese, green onions and the ranch dressing mix and its not to uncommon for me to add cheddar cheese to the mix. In my household, we hardly go through any new years eve without making this appetizer. When it comes to the green onion, I use the whole onion. If my mother decides to make it, the green part of the onion is not to be found.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mama Mia! when it was in the movie theater here and currently I have the DVD. I think its a great movie, but then again I am a sucker for musicals in general. I thing that you must know is that once you see the movie, you will have a problem keeping the music out of your head as its rather contagious to say the least. The music is Abba Songs so they have a way of creeping up into your head without notice. If you want a feel good movie, this may be the movie for you.

When it comes to HTML and CSS, sometimes we want to have borders around our text to spice up your pages. There are a variety of different types of borders. You have regular ones and then rounded ones. Please remember not everything works in all browsers. Internet explorer is a prime example of a browser that seems to always cause problems. When it comes to playing STO, most people can get away with the default settings within the game. It works fine for most people, but for some, it is not enough. For PVP, keybinds are a must. Most players are fully comfortable with navigating the game with just a keyboard and mouse. Other players like myself navigate the game with those two plus a controller. HTML and CSS work closely together. Let me tell you one thing about myself. I've been playing with HTML since 98, but the past few years, i've been using it even more and most of what I have learned, I've learned on my own. I even know css which is a bit different than html, but it really does help you to make great websites. CSS picks up where html does not. One example would be the hyperlink colors. You can change those in css. You can still change the text in html, but css can change the color of the hyperlinks. You may ask what is html and css stand for? HTML is hyper text markup language and CSS is cascade style sheets.

You can't bowl without a bowling ball can you? You can bowl with a bowling ball that the bowling alley has, but what if you want to get your own? Why get your own ball when you can use a ball for free? That is a great question and I shall tell you why? If you are a person whom likes to improve on their game, you will definitely need a ball of your own. Another reason is because sometimes it is very hard to find the right ball at the bowling alley. They typically are not made for you. If you do find a ball that is right, you may not be able to bowl with it every time you go bowling as someone else could be using it. I've been faced with that scenario as a kid. I don't have to deal with that now because I have my own bowling ball. I've had my own bowling ball since I was a kid.

When people think of cataracts, most people think of adults when it comes to this problem. Children can have it too and I was one of them. In children it is called Congenital Cataracts. My cataracts was not found out until I was about three years old. Looking back, there were signs that I had a problem, but you do not always think of it until you are faced with the problem head on. Killer Bunnies is a game I came across in my college years. The game was confusing at first until I figured it out. In one or two setting anyone can get the gist of the game. This game is for ages 12 and up. The game calls for 2-8 player, but with the addition of expansion packs, I believe you can get away with way more than 8. Playing with a group of people is way more fun than just playing with 2 or 3 people.

Bowling is a sport that the object of the game is to knock down the pins on the other end of the alley. As long as I could remember, I have always known how to bowl. I even have memories of times when I was not able to wear the bowling shoes that were available at the bowling alley as my feet were very small. When I first started in a children's bowling league, I still was not able to wear the shoes yet so I had to bowl in my socks. I don't even remember how old I was when I was finally able to wear bowling shoes.

In the previous HTML and CSS lenses that I have created, I had talked about backgrounds and how to add it to your lenses. I know you were probably confused and thought maybe it only works with the borders as that seems to be the only place so far that I really showed you to how to add the backgrounds. This lens is devoted to backgrounds. Now let me tell you right off the bat, some of what I am going to be showing you is easy and yet others are not. Don't worry if you don't get it all right away. If you are design websites, this is the package for you, but I do have to admit there is some learning curve to learn everything in the package. When I was a kid, I remember watching Punky Brewster. Seeing some of these shows, is a bit nostalgic for me. I was a kid of the 80s after all, so in a way I was brought up on these type of shows outside of cartoons that is. There are certain parts of my childhood that I didn't like, but television was a way to forget about all of that, even if it was for only a half hour at a time. The show ran on NBC from September 16, 1984 to September 7, 1986 and again in first-run syndication from September 26, 1986 to May 27, 1988.

Back in September 2008, I had bought my very first Toshiba laptop. Having a laptop was not new to me. The previous laptops I had were a compaq and a Gateway. I did hear that Toshiba was a great brand, so I ended up with this one. It was actually a tossup between that and a Dell studio 17. The local Circuit City actually had the best deal. Originally when I was looking for a laptop, I really wanted a Toshiba and I actually got my wish and a good one at that as it had all of the features I wanted plus more.

The Apple Ipod came out onto the market October 23, 2001. It is also the very first portable MP3 on the market. Now today, we have many choices when it comes to Ipods. You have the classic, nano, shuffle,video, and itouch. I currently have the ipod photo which lacks the ability to watch videos. Its only good for photos and music. At that time that I had bought it, it was the only ipod that had color when it came to the screen. The other ipods were still in greyscale. To me, I though that this was better. Soon after, they had discontinued my model. I had the 40GB version so that left 30GB and 60GB versions. The ipod touch does look interesting to me. Part of the reason why it does interest me is because there is a kindle app so if I forget my kindle for some reason and have an itouch, I can read books on it. Another reason, it looks sleek.

As long as I could remember, I have always been around bowling. On top of it all, I love the sport and there is a really great Reason. I like improving my score every time I bowl. On top of it all, it really is good for your health as bowling is exercising in a way.

Like the bowling ball, bowling shoes are very important. You cannot bowl in regular shoes due to the fact that it would be dangerous to other bowlers to bowl in that manner. Having your own pair is better as they are more comfortable compared to renting shoes.

Michael Jackson means a lot of different things to different people. I grew up in the 80s so I knew and had heard his music. My most memorable memories of his music for me was rollerskating and dancing. When it came to rollerskating for me, they had always played his music as his music really did fit the atmosphere. I think it was a few years ago when I was on skates again when I had not been on them for a long time. I still can remember how to skate. I guess once you learn, you never ever forget. The point of the matter is that they still were playing his music in the rollerskating rink. My other fondest memory of his music was when it came to dancing class. Every other year, there was a dance recital. That year, I was taking jazz class which has a mixture of all the dance styles I had learned as I had already done ballet and tap. Anyways, the song they chose was black or white. I was still very young here as this was all before I went to junior high. Have you ever thought of dressing your dog up for Halloween? I think it is hilarious, but there is no way I will be able to do that for my two dogs. Mindy, my shepherd mix could handle it a bit better than my border mix Lucky. August 1, 2009; there will be another giant squid challenge. This is for both the giant squid hopefuls and for the giant 100 club. Last quarter, they had started teams for these challenges. Before then, everyone was on their own when it came to trying to make it. Before, a giant squid hopeful would have to find a giant squid to help them. With the team, these hopefuls have a better chance of making it because the giants are available to hopefully steer them all in the right direction. This quarter, they have taken the team thing a bit farther. Now there are also coaches in each and every team. You may be asking what are honorary angels? These are angels whom are not full fledged angels, but they do have the abilities to bless or ding lenses. The only difference between a regular angel and an honorary is that the honorary ones are not assigned to categories to look after. In a sense, they can float anywhere. They don't have to do the assignment that are given to the angels. Even though there is over 30 angels chosen, there are far more angels floating around squidoo who vow to do good with their wings.

Bringing a new dog home is a scary thing especially if you are bringing one home to a multi dog home. With the recent passing of Lucky, this is something I had to do when we brought Cookie home. There has always been talk about bringing dogs to a neutral ground, but that is not always possible. All of my life, we have never done that and all of our dogs have turned out fine without doing that. It is more work, but it can be accomplished.

There are even one for people that bowl with more than one balls. For some people that is crazy, but there is a reason for that. What to get a reader as a present? Try the Amazon Kindle. Its a perfect gift for someone whom loves to read. If they do in fact read a lot, they would get a perfect use to this item. There are a wide variety of books to choose from. Many times, they are cheaper than their paper counterparts. I own The Kindle two and have found that some of the books, I have for my kindle are cheaper than buying paperbacks. The other advantage is that you are saving the trees. If you are a person that does not have good vision, I would also advise you to buy this for them as you can make the text bigger which makes it easier to read.

Anyone who loves dogs will love this movie. Some parts of movie remind me of some things that my shephard mix would do. Since the release of Kindle, I have been wanting a kindle so that I can read books on it. On April 11th 2009, I had received my kindle and love it so now I can give you my own perspective of this product. Before, this lens was my own research into the product. Quick update: When I originally wrote this lens, this was information about the Kindle 2. Now, the Kindle has a third generation and a Kindle DX. I still have my Kindle 2 and have no plans on buying a third generation Kindle until the one I have does not fit my needs. From what I have read about the third generation is that there is more memory size and its thinner. In addition has a better battery life.

New Horizon Spaces or NHS for short was a site I personally created. Over the years, it has been my steady website and has evolved with my interests. Before New Horizon Spaces, there was New Horizon Skins which has been used for the skins I have created for the board I currently use. I basically have used this as a hobby board and when I did get the urge to create a new skins, it was made known on my site. I later thought of giving out webhosting to people as an added service. That is where New Horizon Spaces was born and has continued to be around in the many forms it has been. It keeps evolving with my interests. Now, New Horizon Spaces is catered to two types of people which also at times actually merges with each other. This site is both for writers and for people whom also run websites of their own. The resources will grow in time here as I know I can't do it all. So basically New Horizon Spaces can be classified as both non profit and profit depending on which category you belong to. Up to this point, we hardly make any money through this site, but we keep trying.

Some people have WOW, and finally star trek fans will have Star Trek Online. The price of the subscriptions is about $15 per month. It gets cheaper if you subscribe at 3 months or more. They even have a lifetime subscription which is more geared toward the convenience of not having to pay from month to month. Star Trek Online was Release on February 2010.

From what I know, there really is not many females that play games on the computer. Some though, may keep it hidden that they are female because of whatever reason it may be. Then of course there are ones like me who are not afraid to say that we do in fact play MMOs. The title says it all. I thought that this would be a fun article to write and ask this question. Are Females really a myth in MMOs? My answer of course would be no since I do play MMOs and of course, I am a female. I don't play WOW, but I do play STO.

I've watched Star Trek since high school. Ever since then, I have been hooked on it. I have watched all of the series' and movies. Some I have watched more than others, but in the end they all have their charm. They all build off of each other even if you do not realize it or not. Everyone has different opinions when it comes to what are good and bad with Star Trek. Some people say Star Trek Nemesis is great and yet others say that it's the worst Star Trek movie that ever lived. When I was a little kid, I could not stand Star Trek. Star Trek is something that can grow on you depending on who you are. I am not going to say for everyone that Star Trek will grow on you because that is not always the truth. Anyone whom knows Star Trek would know who Majel Barrett-Roddenberry is. In addition to being the widow of Gene Roddenberry, she was the only person who played a part in each and every Star Trek series in some way or another. In addition, she played in some of the star trek movies. She was well known as Nurse Christine Chapel, Ambassador Lwaxana Troi, the computer's voice and even number one in the pilot episode of the original star trek series. She was named the First Lady of Trek because of her affiliation with Gene. She kept Star Trek alive even in his absence.

One of the first things I do when one computer in the house breaks down is look for a new one. When mom's laptop hit the dust, I went looking at Toshiba to see what they had. I had no idea that they have desktops but they do. These do not have towers or anything like that so it still feels like a portable computer, but bigger. These, they like to call all in one where everything except for the mouse and keyboard are built into the monitor. Below, I have listed some choices you have when it comes to Toshiba Desktops. If I am going to have something like this, I still prefer my laptop as I feel this has the same downside that the laptops have to where you have to go to the company to fix the problem. For some people, this may work for them. In my opinion this is a good step forward for them. I am waiting for the time when they finally get a real desktop computer if that ever comes.

Recently, I had bought this controller to play some of my computer games with. There are some games like Star Trek Online, that some people feel that using the keyboard is just enough. For me, I felt it would be better to play the game from a controller. Most of what I can do has been done through keybinds to the controller, but there are still some functions that I still use on the keyboard or mouse. Reason I went this direction is because I kept hitting keys I should not. The controller helps me not to do that. I had a tendency to hit the enter key at the least convenient time. In addition to hitting the caps lock. I grew up in the video game age to where I am more comfortable with controllers.

Amazon Kindle DX: The Big Screen Version

On May 6, 2009 Amazon had announced that there were coming out with a Kindle DX which is a bigger ereader than the previous Kindles out on the market. The release date was in june 2009. I have been reading in their forums and some people are upset that this is coming out because they were not given a choice. To me, I could careless of that. Its just human nature for some people whom are going to complain about this no matter how much in advanced they let everyone know about it coming out. The DX on top of it all is geared toward a different kind of audience. From what I have read is that this particular Kindle is geared toward the college students and business people.
