Warum Koi Tattoos? Obwohl der Koi eigentlich haupts�chlich im gelben Fluss in China beheimatet war, haben die japanischen Samurai ihn doch sehr bewundert. The Japanese saw or nokogiri used in woodworking and Japanese carpentry differs from its European counterpart since it cuts on the pull stroke as opposed to the push stroke. This allows it to have thinner blades that cut more efficiently and leave a narrower cut width (kerf). Push-saws require a thick blade to remain rigid. Otherwise, the blade would flex wildly as the craftperson pushed on the handle, instead of cutting. A pull-saw, on the other hand, is under tension rather than compression during cutting. Therefore there is no stiffness requirement, and the blade can be much thinner. Japanese style saws have also gained popularity outside Japan. wiki

Es ist wohl eine sehr ungew�hnliche Konstellation, in der wir im April 2010 zu den heiligen Bergen der Schamanen wanderten. Gemeinsam mit der Antropologin Gabriele Tautscher aus Wien, dem Schamanen Myingmar Sherpa und seinem Helfer und uns, einer Gruppe von 9 interessierten Menschen aus �sterreich und Deutschland. Ungew�hnlich, weil uns die 2 Schamanen auf einem 7 t�gigen Trek zum heiligen Berg Kalingchock und zum G�tterfelsen Deodunga begleiteten. Auf 3850 metern H�he zelebrierten sie die Anrufung und die Opferung f�r ihre G�ttinnen und G�tter und wir waren Teil der Zeremonien und des gemeinsamen Trekkings. F�r mich pers�nlich hat es das Verst�ndniss f�r den Schamanismus wesentlich erweitert und in vielen Bereichen auch korregiert.

Abseits der �blichen Trekkingrouten haben wir 2010 eine Reise nach Nepal unternommen. Ziel waren die heiligen Berge der Schamanen. Dabei begleiteten uns die gesamte Zeit zwei Schamanen. Auf dem Weg zu ihren heiligen Pl�tzen Kalingchock und Deodunga (beide ca. 3800 m hoch) durchquerten wir die wunderbaren, bl�henden Rhododendron Urw�lder an der Flanke der Berge.
