Birthday Pirate Parties!

Why not hold a PIRATE PARTY for your child. There are all kinds of things that you can do for pirate parties and the children will love dressing up! Treasure hunts around the garden; BOB-DOWN-PIRATE (Last one to bob down when the music stops is out, until there is a winner) fancy dress parade etc. Why not draw a plank on the path outside with chalk and then colour in the top part of the plank. See if anyone will volenteer to walk the plank blind folded... Place a blind fold over the volenteers eyes. Make sure there is no peeking and then they have to walk to the end of the plank. If they walk off the end everyone shouts "overboard" if they stop before the coloured bit they get an "awwww too short" but if they stop right on the coloured part they win a small prize and get a cheer! And if things are getting a bit too hectic or the weather turns grim you can always sit everyone down to watch 'HOOK' or some other suitable video or get them all drawing pirates and desert islands to hang up around the room. There are some great pirate games to play to. Try pop-up-pirate... Suprise parties are nice but children often like to be a part of the planning process. The planning is half the fun...
Baby Dragons

Where do dragons come from? Did the stories of dragons really come from the last of the dinasaurs... Were they made up by the story tellers of long ago to entertain... Perhaps they were just the makings of the over fertile imaginations of people to explain away some strange happenings... Do you beleive in dragons? Perhaps they are real and still living in some secret place today... Where ever their origins... So many people have heard of them, read stories about them, crayond pictures of them, worn them on their dressing gowns and T shirts, played with cuddly toy dragons, bought ornaments of them or made up their own tales about from time to time. And wether they are fact or fiction they are very popular with both children and adults alike. Because dragons is such a huge topic to cover I have focused mainly on those cute little hatchlings - BABY DRAGONS

Chameleons

Chameleons are fascinating creatures. Not only do they look like prehistoric frog monsters from Mars... do a cool, shaky dance when they walk (to blend in as leaves blowing in the breeze) and catch their prey with a long sticky tongue but they can even see in two different directions at the same time. Some chameleons have very exotic colours to. Their colours change acording to their mood. So please enjoy my Chameleon lense and feel free to comment or just say hi in my guest book before you go ^__^ Please do keep popping back to check out the updates!

COLD FEET - Thyroid problems

Most people have heard of their thyroid gland. Some people understand a little about it - perhaps they have heard that lack of thyroxine causes you to feel tired and put on weight. Doctors know and understand a lot about it...but sometimes people can slip through the net of diagnosis completely or are advised that they are suffering from a touch of depression or are just lazy... Hmmm well when that happens it maybe time to ask for a second oppinion! I should know. I've been there.... This site is a member of WebRing.

Mary Engelbreit is an artist. Her artwork is so bright and cheerful that I don't know how anyone could not like her designs, characters, decorative borders and wholesomeness. I love the quotes and titles of her pictures. When I see them it makes me wish that I had come up with the ideas first LOL. As an artist I appreciate the work and skill that goes into all of her artwork as well as the apparent joy. Mary's work is very inspirational and she is probably my favorite greeting card artist!
