I sat down on the wooden bench in front of her for some length of time, not wanting to leave this enchanted presence. I watched as people came into the room and saw them experience the same reverence that I had at once felt. Even small children hushed their chatter as they entered her presence and could not take their eyes away from her. In the following years, I have returned to this place of magic many times. It never loses it's power over me.

According to the Chinese horoscope, The 60-year cycle consists of two separate cycles combining with each other. As a kid, I knew how to create a vision board without even knowing what it was called. I bought a huge piece of cork board and wood to frame it and my friend's dad made what I then called "My Bulletin Board." Did I say it was huge? I posted everything there. If I saw a hair style I liked in a magazine, it went on the board (hey, I was a teen aged girl!) Photos of my friends, and people I wanted to be friends with, pictures of clothes from magazines, the car I wanted (for when I could have a car), upcoming events, places I wanted to go, people I admired (even movie stars) and so on. I don't know if kids still do that. Do they? You don't have to have a board as big and fancy as mine was. You can use a small pre-made cork board (available at hobby stores), a poster board (available at Walmart, K-Mart, office supply and more) or even just a piece of construction paper will do. image by tracyshaun
