Aliased as Dr. Bruce Banner, he is a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde fashioned character who appears after Dr. Banner becomes angry - effectively shape-shifting his body into the green-skinned Hulk.  The Hulk has superhuman powers, and can bend metal and pick up great amounts of weight with ease. In addition, he is seemingly impervious to bullet and missile attacks, only becoming stronger and more ferocious as he keeps getting angrier. Once the Hulk becomes calm, he once again reverts back to the form of Dr. Banner. The Hulk is one of Marvel Comics' most legendary characters, bringing about a great deal of merchandising and video game applications. It first came to TV in 1978, as a live-action series starring Bill Bixby and and Lou Ferrigno. The series returned in 1982, and then again in 1996 as two separate Incredible Hulk animated television series.
