All The Best Movies Were Made in Black & White

It doesn't matter what decade you're talking about, chances are the best movies made during that decade are black and white movies. From the 30s even up through the 90s and today, great black and white movies continued to be made. This lens will focus on great black and movies, especially ones that the filmmakers consciously chose to shoot in black and white, as well as little known gems. When I was growing up and we only had twenty or so cable channels to choose from, you could see black and white movies on all of them. Now, TCM is pretty much the last domain. For that matter, it's getting more and more difficult to find networks that are willing to show movies made before 1990. Which is really a shame since 99% of all the truly great movies ever made were made before 1990.

Your Guide to Pensacola, Florida

Pensacola, Florida is many things to many people. To me, it's basically just a really hot place with really conservative-minded people. On the other hand, it's got some great restaurants and more history than any the city in the United States, including St. Augustine.

Helping to Further the Legacy of George W. Bush

At long last, the end is nigh for the long, horrible nightmare that most Americans have resisted waking up from. With each passing day, more people are rubbing the sleep from their eyes and looking around griefstricken at what happened to their country during their coma-like slumber. Pretty soon, America will no longer have to fear the dangerous and criminal policies of George W. Bush. But when Bush finally leaves office the real work will begin. We must not allow Bush to revise his legacy as he has revised the Constitution and history. This lens is dedicated to reminding everyone just how truly execrable a President George W. Bush actually was.
