A Xombyte is an article or short piece of text you have written yourself - can be just a paragraph or two. You can insert links to your website or affiliate links if you wish. No adult, gambling or drug related subjects are allowed but other than that your Xombyte can be about anything you like.

Xombytes are extremely easy to write and publish.

A Xomblurb is even easier to write than a Xombyte. It is basically just a link to a news story, video, website or blog posting that you think others may be interested in with a short comment.

Getting Started

Day 1 - I joined up and made 1 Xombyte just to see how it was done - easy!
Day 2 - Made a few more Xombytes and Xomblurbs and started to get a few visitors but no clicks.
Day 3 - Up to around 25 total pages now, first page of Google for several of my keywords and made $2.16 in clicks (4 clicks).

Previously I was making less than $2 a week from Adsense clicks coming from a website and some blogs that have been around for over a year, so $2.16 in one day is quite exciting especially on my 3rd day!

I signed up for Xomba through the link of a user who claims to have made $6,400 in November from Xomba and he is supposed to be sending me some tips on how to achieve a similar result but I have heard nothing from him yet.

It's early days yet but so far what is working for me is looking at some online newspapers for any news stories that catch my eye and then making a Xomblurb by writing just a couple of sentences about the story and posting a link. Financial news stories are good as the Adsense ads tend to be higher paying.

Day 4 - Made 9 more Bytes & Blurbs and $2.98! in Adsense revenue - total so far for week 1 = $5.14, however not all of this is from Xomba pages as I said before I was already making about $2 a week from Adsense.

Day 5 - Only managed 2 new Xomblurbs today as I was busy with other things. $1.69 in Adsense revenue - total so far for week 1 = $6.83. I bookmarked just 1 of my Xomblurbs with some social bookmarking sites just to see and did get a lot more page impressions for that page, but no clicks.

Day 6 - A quiet day = $0.87 Adsense revenue - total so far for week 1 = $7.70

Day 7 - Last day of week 1 is another quiet day with $0.93 in Adsense Revenue bringing the total for week 1 to $8.63 which is around $6.00 more than I normally make in Adsense in a week.
Total Xombytes at end of week 1 = 10
Total Xomblurbs at end of week 1 = 34
