Xylitol Gum Rocks!

Well, the biggest thing in my mind is that xylitol is NOT aspartame! Man, that aspartame is crazy stuff. And it's in LOTS of stuff we eat and drink every day. It's in most major chewing gums, most major soft drinks, and in most artificial sweeteners (like Splenda, etc.)

So, I figured if I would be chewing lots of gum, why would I want to chew on a big hunk of aspartame all day long? Sick.

Actually, xylitol gum is super-big in Asia...seems like the US can be slow on stuff sometimes.

Xylitol is a naturally occurring sweetener found in fruits and vegetables.

Studies have also shown that chewing xylitol gum leads to a reduction in cavities. That's pretty cool since my 2 kids are always asking for some of my gum!

It's even been found to prevent ear-infections!

One problem with it though...don't let your dog get a hold of it. It's VERY harmful for dogs.
But since we don't even have a dog, I'm not too worried about that.

I found a company on the internet called Zapp that was offering 5 free packs for just $4.95 in shipping and handling. I ordered it and it tastes pretty good! (I'll try to put a link for it below somewhere)

So if you're looking for a healthy chewing gum without harmful aspartame, try xylitol gum instead.

Then at least you'll be able to chew with peace of mind!
