With the help of the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package, I am more inspired to reach my goals of getting the same talents as of Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Jack Johnson and Boyce Avenue!

Is the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package worth it? Yes it is. You should have seen me when I got this as a gift. I think any guitar lover would be happy to receive it.
At first, the guitar itself looks really nice. I'd say perfection is really there! And even though I am not really a beginner when it comes to playing the guitar, I do believe this is not just for those who are just starting to play!

When I unpacked the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package, here's what I got:
- the guitar (of course) - Yamaha GigMaker F325 (Which is shown at the right side) - has a spruce top and a rosewood fret board along with chrome tuning pegs.
- a gig bag
- a strap
- a tuner - Qwik Tune
- a guitar lessons CD (very helpful!)
- extra strings!
- a pick - it is now gathering dust on the counter. I don't personally use picks so don't ask me to review that! :)

My Thoughts on the Yamaha GigMaker!
Here are my thoughts on the whole package:
The Yamaha GigMaker F325 Acoustic Guitar - first impressions last, I say. It looks uber good and sturdy, and it got the sexy clear sounds which is hard to find in other low-cost guitars. Check out the video below for a sample.

Yamaha Gigmaker Acoustic Guitar Package Extras Reviewed
** The Instructional DVD - Super useful tool. It can teach a complete beginner to an intermediate new things. HINT: if you do not want to be inspired to build your own band, do not watch the CHORD STUDIO.
** Qwik Tune Electronic Guitar Tuner - I already have this one from my Gigmaker EG, and I say this is a good tuner. Amazon gives it mixed reviews, though.
** Strap - Looks cheap. I believe it will break quickly like the one from my Yamaha GigMaker EG.
** The Gigbag - Looks decent, but it is a little thin. I expect this to protect my guitar from dust only, but not bumps and drops.
The Verdict
Awesome Guitar.
You might want to purchase a better bag and strap, though.

- My son has never had a Yamaha. He does play a lot, though. He has an electric guitar and an acoustic/electric. I much prefer the sound of an acoustic. There is something about they way that they sound that I love.

- I love accoustic guitars, but have never tried a Yamaha - I didn't know they made guitars, I thought they only did pianos and keyboards.
