First of all, this is a really sturdy guitar. I've seen one of these get dropped a lot and the paint job does not even give out, and the guitar still gives out those beautiful sounds like it always does.

However, its twin brother, the Yamaha PAC112J, while the difference is just the wood used for the body, (and, needless to say, the price) sounds better than PAC012.

The neck is really smooth, so gliding your hands quickly up and down is not uncomfortable. The simplicity of the guitar makes it the best choice for new players to the intermediate players. However, if you are an advanced player, you might want to look somewhere else, as the simplicity and lack of advanced features will let you down.

This guitar is best suited for jazz, punk, rock and metal.
