Do you play the keyboards? Do you know one who does?
I've just learned how to play the keyboards using the Yamaha YPG 535 88 key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard (and a friend). I am certainly in love with this piece of equipment right now. This keyboard makes me feel like a professional, even though I'm a bit new to the keyboard playing scene!

The Review - Yamaha YPG 535 88-key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard
Firstly, I'd say Yamaha YPG 535 is a really good looking piece of equipment. Yamaha YPG 535 88-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard looks pretty nice, and Yamaha had lived up to its standards with this one. It just looks very state of the art.
The stand is especially tough. When bolted, the piano keyboard seems like one with the stand, and won't go off no matter what you do. Well, unless you unscrew it.
The keys are very uncomplicated to press, almost weightless, giving out those superb clear, crisp solid sounds, especially the middle octaves. And you are not restricted to piano voices, either. The interesting ones include maracas, electric piano, the church-like strings and even UFO. It makes it especially amusing to experiment with. The super metronome feature allows you to select the beat of accompaniment.

Further Review - Yamaha YPG 535 88-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard
I am a big fan about the record feature. It lets you record your performance, so you can get an fair review after wards, or, for piano tutors, one can first record a piece, then have the student follow the record. This is a exceptionally handy feature.
The Lyric and Chord music sheet (shown on the left) is a wonderful addition. It is a virtual music sheet you can download from the net or record yourself. Additionally, you can select from the preset options. This makes Yamaha YPG 535 incredibly uncomplicated to learn songs if you reading score sheets.
Another cool addition is the instructional suite. It teaches non-piano players and beginners to play keyboards, in seven lessons.
Customer Reviews - Yamaha YPG 535 88 Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard
Other opinions matter! So here are a few customer reviews for this kind of Piano keyboard.
We received the keyboard very quickly and in perfect condition - which was a concern because we are an FPO address overseas. It sounds great and the keys are semi-weighted. I doubt we will ever need to upgrade this keyboard - since it has so many features and we are recreational players. Great choice if you want something more than a standard keyboard and less than a digital piano. - Mary, a satisfied customer

Buy Yamaha YPG 535 88-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard

I originally thought of buying Kurzweil SP88 (which I'd played for 4 years before moving), but since that model doesn't have its own speakers and stand, I bought this YPG-535 instead. And I don't regret it! The sound is clean, clear and solid, especially so for the middle keys. There are a lot of sounds, so you can play the second with it as well as the main. I do feel that the higher notes aren't as good, especially for the Grand Piano sounds, but if you search through you can find a sound that plays better higher notes. The stand is wooden and have to be assembled with screwing nuts and bolts, and once assembled it's very sturdy. The keyboard is screwed onto the stand. It wasn't as high as I thought it would be, but if you lower your chair it's okay. Overall it's a good keyboard, esp if you are planning to use it at home. - Celeste, a satisfied customer

- Looks like a great keyboard. How heavy is it do you know? I would like a digital piano really but they are a bit too heavy to carry around usually.

- Good information about a product that is built with the larger keypoard. This is also good for those who are learning piano and don't have enough room for a traditional piano.
