Yeast Infection Signs

Some of the first signs of a yeast infection include a rash, itching, a burning sensation, vaginal discharge, pain during sexual intercourse, redness and soreness of the infected area, and a swelling of the vulva. Without a doubt, the unbearable itching is the worst of the yeast infection symptoms and can really interfere with your daily life and drive you to distraction.

A Yeast infection is not a 'serious' condition but can often be a sign of an unbalanced diet, intolerance, or other medical problem and if you are suffering from prolonged or frequent attacks then it is advisable to consult a Doctor for professional advice.

Treating A Yeast Infection

If you think you have some or all the yeast infection signs, and decide to take care of the problem yourself, then you can go down two roads; Over the counter medication such as Diflucan, or you can try a natural remedy and a dietary change which often in my opinion works better.

Natural Yeast Infection Remedies

First of all... tight clothing is out... This is the last thing you want to be wearing when you are suffering from a yeast infection, this will only make the problem worse and make the itching even more unbearable.

A good tip for stopping the itch is to use Aloe Vera juice and apply it to a cotton pad and place it on the affected area. You can also use a yogurt tampon. Simply dip the tampon into a tub of natural yogurt and then insert into the vagina.

If you find you have persistent yeast infection signs then it may be worth considering consulting your physician.
