Yeast Infection Treatment

            What is yeast infection? Who can acquired this kind of infection? What are the symptoms of yeast infection? Is there any remedy for this? This are just a few questions  that I'm going to answer  in this lens.

            Yeast lives in two forms: Roots and Spores. To treat yeast infection,  you have to cure the root cause. Everyone knows what a flare up of vaginal yeast infection or diaper rush is. You just get some medicines and it clears up, right? But did you really cure the infections or you just cure the symptoms. Most people don't know what a cronic yeast infection is or the damages it can do. Many of us become accustomed to this symptoms that we think that they are just part of growing old or simply part of our system.

      Yeast Infection is scientifically known as Candidiasis or Monilia. It is caused by candida albicans. They are normally present in relatively small number in our vagina or sex organ. Sometimes the yeast multiply rapidly and take over, causing a chronic yeast infections.It can be due to different changes in vaginal environment.                                    

        Anyone can aquired this kind of infection. Even a child. It is very important that we are aware about the information from which and how we acquire the infection.

CLOTHING- non-cotton, tight, dirty clothes that traps heat and moisture can trigger yeast infection. It is very important for us to give importance to ones cleanliness. We should avoid using pantyhose. It will be advisable to wear skirt and sleep without any undearwear. Avoid bleaching undies, undyed cotton underwear and if possible iron them.

 ANTIBIOTICS   - kills the good bacteria in our system, upsetting the balanse of our vaginal system. It is hard to think that in order to cure a sickness another infection occured. We can avoid taking antibiotics but it is really one of the factor that yeast infection might acquire.

CHEMICAL  - an example of this is commercial douches.  We should not used soap in washing our sex organ. Soap can cantain harmful ingredients that may upset yeast. It is advisable to use product with ph care on it. Some of us perceived that by using soap that smell nice may avoid the bad odor but again, we are wrong. Perfume may also contribute to yeast infections. And this chemical are present in most soap. So, next time be very careful with the soap that we will going to use.

DIET - high level of sugar in our diets trigger the yeast infection. Some of us think that eating yeast is the main reason of having yeast infection. We are again wrong. The yeast that we have in breads are completely different from the yeast we have in yeast infections. Eating food with high level of sugar is the main reason.

HORMONES - pregnant woman are proven prone to this kind of infection. Because of hormonal changes in our body, yeast irritated and causing this infection. Yeast generally doesn't like the ph of menstrual blood. That's why many of us felt viginal irritation during our periods. 

Condoms - most condoms contains lubricant called "nonoxynol-9", a spermicide that may kill the HIV virus. Some of us are allergic to latex thats why condoms trigger yeast infection.

INJURY- injuring vaginal membrane due to too much friction may cause yeast infections. With no enough lubrication we might injured our membrane. We can use some safe lubrication that doesn't contain harmful ingredients. It is not wise to use vaseline , for  it may breakdown the latex . Or use non- oily hand creams, which contains dyes and perfume.

Sexual Transmission - it can be transmitted between people by direct contact.

STEROIDS - used in the treatment of arthritis, asthma, or lupus can contribute to yeast infection.
