Get Rid Of Yellow Teeth

The thing about it is, that when your teeth start turning yellow you don't always notice it because it is a gradual thing. So I get to wondering how long have my teeth been yellow and why am I'm just now noticing it! Needless to say, at this point I'm definitely feeling a bit self conscious about it.

I'm not smiling so much now and the funny thing is, my mood is reflecting my unsmiling face. I can not give you a scientific reason for that but I'm pretty sure that smiling produces little signals in your brain to make you think happy thoughts.

Okay, so I have to get rid of my yellow teeth, so I do what any sane person would do. I search it on the internet.

Well let me tell you. I came up with some major disappointments. I found everything from using strawberries to using lemon juice to baking soda and peroxide.

I am definitely not the worlds smartest person but what I do know is that using lemon juice on your teeth is a bad idea. Will it get my teeth white? Absolutely! What it will also do is eat the enamel right off of my teeth. I want white teeth not no teeth! Lemon juice is very acidic and so are strawberries.

I did decide to give the mixing peroxide and baking soda to make a paste a try. My first thought was holy cow this stuff taste bad. The taste alone might have made me rethink my idea but you only have to leave it on for two minutes. I can handle that, it's just 120 seconds. Boy O boy, Let me just tell you, that was the longest 120 seconds of my life.

Not because it tasted so incredibly bad but because it burned. Now I'm not just talking a little annoying burn. I'm talking a, you have got to be kidding as I'm hopping around the bathroom because I was in serious pain, I think I'm going to cry type burn. Now I don't know about you but I don't get off on causing myself pain.

I can already see the wheels in your head turning. Why in the world did I leave it in my mouth for the full two minutes if it hurt that bad? Well, because I had to see if my teeth were going to be whiter of course. Go ahead and try it. You won't be spitting it out either, you'll suffer just like I did. That little voice in side your head will be telling you that it might work but only if you follow the instructions.

I couldn't really tell if my teeth were any whiter but I wasn't about to do it again to find out.

So I'm telling my friend about the whole peroxide, baking soda experiment (hey, what are friends for) when she told me about a website that offers a great teeth whitening kit. See, I knew that if I asked my "O" so smart friend she would have a good solution.

I am happy to say that not only am I still able to enjoy my candied coffee every morning but I was able to get rid of my yellow teeth as well.
