Yellow lab puppy taining is something very close to my heart. Training yellow lab puppies does not have to be hard work. Labrador puppy training is about having fun with your lab. Yes, there is a serious point in that a well trained dog is less likely to get hurt or hurt others (not to mention impressing your friends). There is however, nothing in the "rules" that says you can't have a shed load of fun in the process.
If you are looking for labrador training tips, I hope we can help you out. To get the most out of your lab and to make training more effective, you need to be aware of it's wants and needs.

Yellow Lab Puppy Training - Some basics
Good health means good training
Many behavioural problems could be due to health issues.
Would you want to be trained when you are feeling poorly or fat and unfit? If your dog is feeling great then it will be a lot easier to get them to concentrate on what you want them to do. Anyway, who wants an unhealthy dog?
The more you are aware of this, the more likely you are to create the right sort of bond with your lifetime friend. Once the dog is healthy (both physically and more importantly, mentally),
Separation Anxiety in Labrador Puppies
Don't leave your lab pup on their own
Like any other dog, labs are a pack animal. In other words, they were not built to be alone. If they are left alone they will develop behavioural problems
which lead to disruptive acts. Favorites are chewing and scatching. others are fouling inside the house, constant whining or barking, as well as digging. All
are signs of distress.
Separation anxiety in labs can also manifest itself in not eating, depression, withdrawing into itself or more serious things such as aggression or even
escaping from where it it being constrained.
Separation anxiety treatments can be either drugs (not recommended) or behavioural treatments. Some people (not dog lovers in my opinion) will even
chastise or punish the dog for this type of behaviour. That is dumb
By far, the best one however is to not leave your labrador retriever alone in the first place. Remember, you are all members of the same pack.

Yellow Labrador Pups - Golden Rules For Golden Dogs
Number one health tip that affects training is EXERCISE. It's easier to train a puppy when they are a bit tired. Why? Well they have got rid of a lot of mischievous energy.
Rule number one....
NEVER take your puppy outside your property until it has had all of it's vaccinations. I know it's tempting, especially as there is a whole new world out there waiting to be discovered but it's just not worth the risk.
Rule number two.
Resist the temptation to make the walks last for too long. A lab puppy is is full of energy and would walk all day if you let them. This however, is not good for them and can lead to all sorts of joint and muscle problems.
A good rule of thumb is to have the walk last for about five minutes times the age (in months of the puppy). For example, , a six month old puppy should have a maximum length walk of thirty minutes. You have to strike a balance when your puppy is growing fast.
Rule 3. As they get older, then plenty of exercise is vital to good health and manageable weight (just like their owners!).
Rule 4. Live and travel as a pack. They should not be left alone, lounging about, in a house all day. Not only does it cause physical health problems (weight gain etc) but mental ones such as separation anxiety.
Like all other dogs, labs are pack animals. They need a pack leader (you, hopefully!) who leads them. The natural instinct is for the pack to travel. In other words, the dogs have to go somewhere, rather than just run around in someone's back yard.
It is your job as pack leader to provide this travel for your pack. This means a DAILY walk where you actually go somewhere (with loads of interesting smells and other dogs to meet).

Training Toys for Your Yellow Labrador Puppy
Training should always be fun - for both of you!
Having a dog can be a lot of fun. You can buy all sorts of different toys for your Yellow Labrador puppy. These can be dog toys just for fun, or to use to train the dog for various activities. A simple web search will show you the wide variety of available options that you can get for your dog.
If you want to train your Yellow Labrador puppy as a retriever, or just train them to get rid of unwanted behaviors or teach them the way you would like them to act, there are a number of things you can purchase to help you out with this. These include such things as training lines, whistles, clickers, training sticks, training dumbbells, dog corrector sprays, and treat bags (and treats). Most of these items come with instructions in order to teach you the best way to use them to get the results that you are looking for.
Of course there are also other types of toys, including those meant more for fun. These include things like the toys that you throw (Frisbees and balls are common ones), as well as toys that you use to play tug of war with your dog. Your Yellow Labrador puppy might also like to have a chew toy or two. These not only help them to exercise their jaws, they can also help to keep their teeth clean and healthy. Not to mention the fact that if they have something to chew on of their own they are less likely to end up chewing on your belongings and destroying them. Puppies might also be fond of soft toys, including those with squeakers inside that make noise when they chew on them.
Giving your Yellow Labrador puppy toys to play with is important. They can live without these toys, but they will be much happier if they have some toys of their own to play with, especially if you take the time to have fun and play with the toys together with them. The time spent playing will help to keep your dog happy and give you some time to relax and have fun as well.
