I will be growing Yellow Pear Tomatoes this year
The Yellow Pear Tomato is excellent in salads and also to make drinks from.; Plant your seeds 1/4 inch deep.; After about 10 days the seedlings should emerge.; The ideal germination temperature is 70-80 degrees (F).
;It is best to start the Yellow pears about seven weeks before transplanting to the outside.; As with all plants let the Yellow Pear Tomato plants spend a few day out doors, but bring them in each night.. After a week it is ok to plant outside.; The Yellow Pear Tomato will be ready to harvest&;in about 75 days.;Yellow Pear Tomatoes also grow very well in planters, being a bush tomato plant it is sometimes easier to control growth in a planter also.; Once they start producing tomatoes it looks like a natural work of art by mother nature.

A fun thing to do with the kids is grow Yellow Pear Tomatoes. If you use a few tall stakes you can train the bush to grow higher and higher. Prune regularly just like any other Tomato plant. Even though it is a bush variety you want all the energy of the plant going to the fruit/ yellow pear tomatoes. If it is not furry and producing fruit cut it off.
