Yes are an English progressive rock band that formed in London in 1968. Their music is marked by sharp dynamic contrasts, extended song lengths, abstract lyrics, and a general showcasing of instrumental prowess. Yes blend symphonic and other 'classical' structures with their own brand of musical style. This double album was the sixth from YES. Comprised of just four tracks, this record was written by lead singer Jon Anderson and guitarist Steve Howe. Each album side is a single song, with each piece being between 18 and 22 minutes in length.
Although critically panned when first released, this album went on to earn a gold record and become a fan favorite.

When YES reformed in the early 1980s, Steve Howe was busy with ASIA, so they recruited guitarist/songwriter Trevor Rabin in his place. This proved to be a great decsion as his contributions to the band helped bring them some top 10 hits and their most wide-reaching and commercial album to date.

First song I've heard from YES was Long Distance Runaround and after that everything else is history. I was a teenager then when they released 90125 and Owner of a Lonely Heart, Cinema and Changes did changed my life! YES was one of the bands and the reason why I've been still rockin's after all these years. They're one of the best prog rock in the land! Thanks for sharing this lens! You've made a great deal of favor for YES! YES!
