Yo Gabba Gabba! Yoooooooo!

Yo Gabba Gabba is one of the few children's programs that I can actually enjoy with my kids. Unlike some of the other meaningless junk cartoons, Yo Gabba Gabba is actually fun and educational.  It took me a couple of episodes to "get it," because it's different from anything else I've seen, but now I see why the kids love it so much!  We sing and dance together to songs like "Don't Bite Your Friends," and "Party in my Tummy!"  Try it!  You might like it!

Who is that guy, and what are those critters?

meet the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba

DJ Lance Rock: He's our host, and in each episode he gets the show started with the magic words, "Yo Gabba Gabba!"

Muno, the red cyclops. He's very friendly, mild-mannered, but sometimes slightly impatient. He loves to learn and is very outgoing. Sometimes he can be a bit clumsy and has been known to break things.

Foofa, the pink flower bubble. She's giggly, outgoing, happy, bubbly, and likes things that are cute and cuddly. But sometimes she gets a little moody if things don't go her way.

Brobee, the green little one. He's cuddly and cute, but also cautious and needs constant reassurance. He's sometimes scared to try new things. Music, singing, and dancing help give him confidence and help him to learn.

Toodee, the blue cat-dragon. She's very smart and independent. She's also athletic and mischievous. Sometimes she gets too excited about things and can be selfish.

Plex, the yellow robot. He's always there to provide music, teach lessons, and use his wonderful magical powers to beam guests into Yo Gabba Gabba Land. Like a parent, he typically knows how to solve problems.

Yo Gabba Gabba features special guests for the Dancey-Dance

One of my favorite parts of Yo Gabba Gabba is the special dancing segment. This is where an actor or celebrity teaches the crew -- and my kids -- how to do a special dance, like the "Twirly Whirly" (Nikki Flores) or the "Puppet Master" (Elijah Wood). The dances are simple and fun for the kids, and having a real person on the show makes it more relatable for adults. Plus, I can't dance, so these simple steps are perfect for me, too! Yaay!

my kids love Yo Gabba Gabba! heck i even enjoy them my daughter is 2 and she loves it and my 1 yr old likes the music. it sort of reminds me of School House Rock...the catchy songs and the animation that is in it.. and i think it is easy to pick up on because they go at a childs pace of learning and they repeat the "subject" they are talking about my 2yr old repeats and plays along with the games they play.

If your kids don't like it.
Don't put it on....right?
I'm sorry but they're not gonna like everything on t.v. or in the world for that matter.
I'm 17 years old and I LOVE this show. It's super colorful, very fun, and teaches kids very important lessons. Unlike some cartoons and shows out there today, Yo Gabba Gabba can be entertaining for the whole family. :) and hwo cares if you don't understand what's going on? my friends and I laugh whenever something random pops up, keeps it interesting.

Sorry to hear there are some parents out there who are not in favor of Yo Gabba Gabba. I guess they don't catch the whole concept of the whole show. The show teaches our children they shouldn't be scared, it teaches them how to dress themselves, how brushing their teeth is a good thing to do, how to get along with others, and much much more. My son is only 11 months old and Yo Gabba Gabba seems to be his favorite thing to watch. He's been watching it since he was younger than that and I will continue to allow him to watch it until he gets tired of it on his own. DJ Lance and the rest of the Gabba gang are so great and I wish they would come to Houston, Texas so I can take my son as well as my little sister, newphews and neice to see them. They all get so excited every time the show is coming on and I am throwing my son a Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Party next month and they are so excited and can't wait to see all the decorations I am making for the party. Yo Gabba Gabba is a great show!!!
