Yoropen takes the strain out of writing
I first saw the Yoropen in 2008 while at a seminar for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. When I later came across these same pens in the shop in a small size for little hands I decided to buy two for my son. Then I tried a full-size pen for myself.
The Yoropen does everything it says it will. The first thing I noticed about the pen, as a left-hander, was how much easier it was to keep my hand off the page and away from the writing.
No more smeared pages!
Then, after using it for a while, I noticed the second thing. I was not getting the problems with pains in my hand from holding the pen. I have arthritis in my hands and holding a pen for any length of time is normally quite uncomfortable for me.
No more painful, cramping hands and fingers!

What is a Yoropen?

The Yoropen was invented in Taiwan by Mr Bao Shen Liu.
Mr Lui realised after spending time working with angles that if he could change the angle at which a pen meets the paper, it could be made easier to use.
After developing several prototypes, refining the angle and other details each time, he finally came up with a writing instrument which reduces strain and makes handwriting easier.
The offset nib ensures pressure is directed directly onto the pen tip. The holding position prevents poor grip and awkward writing positions.

- What a great idea. I find most pens uncomfortable to write with.

- Now I want one of these -- I'd like mine to be a rainbow of colors with the capability of different colored ink -- is there such a model yet?

About the Author
Yes, I use a Yoropen. It has saved a load of strain on my hands. I had been finding it more and more difficult to write even briefly due to the pain and cramping in my fingers and wrist.
With Yoropen, I am able to write without discomfort.
