My review on writing a novel in 30 days

How to write a book

I love this book. It is clear, concise and lays out an easy step by step guide of how you can write your novel in 30 days. Its method reduces rewrites too!

You do need to have you ideas fairly well established to make the most of this method though. Personally I would use this book combined with a book on generating ideas and one on how a writer thinks to cover all bases.

I would also set up a system to make the structure of the book easier to keep track of. Keep a list of your chapters and intentions. You can use word for this or you can use one of the specialist software designed for us writers such as New Novelist.

Creative writing

Creative writing is considered to be any writing, fiction or non-fiction, that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, journalistic, academic, and technical forms of literature. Works which fall into this category include most novels and epics, as well as many short stories and poems.

Fiction Writing

Fiction writing any kind of writing that is not factual. Fictional writing most often takes the form of a story meant to convey an authors point of view or simply to entertain. The result of this may be a short story, novel, novella, screenplay, or drama, which are all types (though not the only types) of fictional writing styles.
