What are the Akashic Records?

The Akashic Records are the soul's records of all its experiences in all the lifetimes it's been through. Each soul has its Akashic Records, like a series of books with each book representing one lifetime. The Hall (or Temple) of Akashic Records is where all souls' Akashic Records are stored, like a library.

You can learn a lot about your life's struggles from your Akashic Records. For example, some people just can't get rid of certain negative feelings even when they know better. And they keep making decisions they know won't serve them well. The reason may be in the soul's records.

I've received the privilege to read the Akashic Records and would like to share the knowledge. It is a great resource of life.

Unscientific? Weird? No at all

It's just beyond the current scope of science.

Think of the priests who made Galileo withdraw the theory of the Earth moving around the Sun. Those were not dumb people - they were the most educated people of their time, yet the idea of the Earth moving was ridiculous and unacceptable for them. They had the authority and represented the majority of views of the time. We now wonder why they couldn't understand Galileo's theory. And we agree with Galileo, "And yet it moves."

Likewise, many people today, including some authorities in science, denounce ideas that they don't understand. It doesn't make the idea wrong. . . you know, "And yet it moves."

Since I quoted Galileo - with all respect to his contributions to modern science, there is one limitation he (and his fellow scientists) left: His approach is based on observations, and observations only. So modern science says, if we can't observe it, with our five senses, it doesn't exist. No one ever proved this premise, we just take it for granted.

But really? We know, for instance, our vision is limited. We can only see certain range of rays. It doesn't mean rays outside this range don't exist. Likewise, beings outside the world we can observe with our regular five perceptions do exist.

We all have the ability to sense this another dimension of existence. We call it intuition. But most of us have been taught to dismiss such special perception. . .

But this is the 21st century

Isn't it time to move forward and accept "the unknown"?

Can we be open to what the modern science has not yet proved? To the invisible world of the souls, the energetic beings? Can we see ourselves as spiritual beings having physical experience, rather than physical beings having spiritual experience?

I think the term "New Age" is a bit misleading because the spiritual beings have been around always, and there were people throughout the history who knew this. It is just new to many of us - we are finally catching up.

There are many modalities to understand and nourish our spiritual nature. The knowledge of the Akashic Records can be the ground work on which we make our efforts to evolve further.

The Akashic Records and the Golden Web

Don't confuse the two.

As stated in the intro above, the Akashic Records are the soul's records of all its experiences in all the lifetimes it's been through. Each soul has its Akashic Records. The Hall (or Temple) of Akashic Records is where all souls' Akashic Records are stored, like a library. By reading the Akashic Records, we gain a good understanding of the person's soul-level makeup. Further, we can heal the past damages left on the soul.

Each soul also has the Golden Web. The Golden Web is the soul's record of this lifetime. It is called the Golden Web because, to clairvoyants, it looks like the shining web. Soul's record in the Golden Web will be forwarded to the Akashic Records for permanent storage.

I heard that many hands-on healers can access the Golden Web and receive the soul's record there. They can therefore heal the damage on the Golden Web. That is wonderful - just don't confuse it with the Akashic Records.

Reading the Akashic Records

And how to utilize the knowledge to make real life progress

The Akashic Records are huge - they are the records of every experience the soul went through. So we want to know only the major items that matter to our current life. I use the client's identifying info such as the full name and date / place of birth to locate the Records. (No, I don't read it just looking at your face. So take it easy when you meet me.)

Let me use my own Akashic Record reading as an example.

First my disclaimer: This is just a tiny snapshot of the reading I would do for my clients. The whole reading is way too long and some parts are quite personal, so it is not appropriate to present here. I am only sharing this so that you get the feeling of what kind of info is in the Akashic Records and how we may be able to utilize it in our daily life.

I am a spiritual messenger (There is a fancier term for this, but as promised in the title, this is "Akashic Records in plain English"). I am born to remind people of our potentials. My soul's primary training is in the fifth energy center, which relates to the fifth chakra. It governs the communication.

Spiritual messengers tend to be born to "difficult" families or situations so that they first know what it is like not to know the spiritual potentials. This firsthand experience helps the messengers to hone their messages later. Sure enough, I was born to outwardly very normal but inwardly no nurturing family. No physical abuse (lucky me!), but just no emotional, nor spiritual, support. And I had to leave my parents and my country eventually.

As you can imagine, I was so relieved when I had my reading and heard these words. It validated my decision to come to the US. It also resonated so much with what I always have known, the sense that I have to say something to the world. I've always loved writing (note that English is my second language. . . and I now write my blog as part of my business).

There are multiple ways to be a messenger in this world - and this is where the free will comes into play. I can be a teacher (well, I was - I used to teach languages) or other educational function such as PR for healthcare services. Or journalist. Maybe a social worker. I am currently choosing to be a coach, and I aspire to be a motivational speaker, too.

There were some tears in my Golden Web and I had to fix them. Before this work, meditation was very difficult for me despite the fact I'd been doing it for many years. There were so much mind chattering I just couldn't sit still for long. Now I love meditation. There are still some chattering (old habits - including mind habits - take some time to be changed), but noticeably less.

You came here for a purpose

Your parents gave your physical birth. The Universe gave you life.

One of the most important value I find in reading the Akashic Records is that it sheds light to your true life purpose.

All souls share general purpose of life: To experience this physical world. To see what works and what not, and to feel what they are like. Further, each soul has a unique purpose. It seeks certain experiences and wants to be what it is.

When I read specific Akashic Record upon request, I check such aspects as the soul's origination and the primary area of training. These informations offer much insight to the soul's purpose. You will know why you just love certain activities and why you are naturally good at certain skills. You will also learn why you repeatedly make certain decisions even when you know they don't serve you well.

Please understand, however, your purpose is not written in stone as a command. First, the purpose is more about being than doing. And for the doing, you have free will. While your soul's past is in the Akashic Records, your future is yours to make.

What the Akashic Records / soul readers are NOT

Some popular myths. . .

1. The Akashic Records are not about commands.
And God is not a cranky boss. God is love, light, and truth.

2. The Akashic Records are not about the future.
It is the record of your soul's past experiences. Just like a person's past choices and experiences has a lot to do with his or her present and the future, the soul's past choices and experiences has a lot to do with its present and the future. However, we have the free will. You have the power to create your future. The Akashic Records can be used for your informed decision making for yourself.

3. The Akashic Record reader is not a fortune teller.
As stated in #2, your future is yours to make. I never tell my clients what their future is or what to do. I guess that, if any "psychic" is telling the future, she is telling the possibilities of the future. Possibilities are possibilities -- they are likely to happen if you stay the way you are. For instance, if you tell me you want to go to Seattle and I see you drive north on I-5, I can assume you will get there. But there may be bad accident on the way that is blocking the freeway. Or you might run out of gas. Or you can just "prove me wrong" by getting off the freeway somewhere. So I can't guarantee you reach Seattle.

God honors you with your free will. This means you are 100% responsible for your future.

4. The Akashic Record reader is not necessarily clairvoyant.
The clairvoyants power to see what others don't see is getting so much attention that some people wrongly assume everyone who talk about the soul and the invisible energetic beings are clairvoyant. No, I'm not clairvoyant. (I hope I didn't disappoint you ^_^) I am clairsentient, though. So every "psychic" is different.

5. The Akashic Record reader is not a medium.
By "medium" I mean a person who lets other souls, living or dead, use her body and speak through it. I personally find this practice to be icky. My body is mine - I have incarnated to this body and have the total right to inhabit in it until I am ready to leave. Period. Plus, what is the point of letting them do such thing to me when I can consciously communicate with them? Don't you think clear conversation is better?

6. The Akashic Record reader is not a magician.
Well, actually kind of . . . depending on what you mean by "magic." When we read the Akashic Records and clear any blocks / fix damages there, the energetic condition of the client's soul improves. This was the original meaning of the magic, and those who performed such service was originally called magi. However, if you are expecting spectacular revelation - like witnessing a ray of holy white light coming down on you from heaven -- you may be disappointed. That is Hollywood magic, and has little to do with real soul work.

Questions?

This article is an introduction to the Akashic Records. There are so much to discuss, and I will add contents as I see fit. . . (Certain issues can sound quite scary or confusing if not presented well entirely, so I am very careful in presenting them to the general public in one-way communication like this.)

To request your own reading, please contact me with "Akashic Record reading" in subject line. Distance is not a problem for the reading -- I just need your identifying info such as your full name. I will get back to you by email - so be sure to check your spam box! (The spam filter tend to block all new contacts. . .) Then we will talk on the phone. Clearing work is included in the reading service. Thank you.
