When your baby starts to walk, it will be just as exciting for him/her as it will for you!
For the first time in their life, they'll be independent, and not have to rely on other people to do everything for them.
Remember, they are likely to be testing their new skill a lot - so keep an eye on them. A walking child brings a whole host of new responsibilities for you.
