Play this game at a party -- be it a group of couples, a frat party, or a youth group get together -- and you will LAUGH, for sure. A friend recommended this game to me at the end of 2007, so I bought it and hosted a small New Year's Eve party with Quelf as the centerpiece. Oh my! We did laugh! I have a competitive personality, for sure. This is the first game I can ever remember playing and not caring who won. With Quelf, the game really is the thing.

    I have only played it with adults. I think it would definitely work for "tweens" and older, but not the typical 8 year-old.
    FWIW, some of the cards are long on content. Of course, some 8 year-olds are pretty with it.
    The makers of Quelf give the age range of 12 & up.

    Is this a good game for families with kids aged 8-15? Or is it more for grown-ups? Looks like if it's okay for kids, mine would love it!
