Me & Zazzle

I don't really remember how I came across Zazzle, I think it was a random accident whilst browsing Google for "How to make money selling photos" That was a few years ago now and I have never looked back!

It took me a little while to figure zazzle out, how to get visitors, how to make more and more $ every month... With no visitors no one knew my items existed and that meant no sales - Not good! So... Instead of keeping all the knowledge that I have learnt and discovered to myself I am going to share it with you! Tips on products, your gallery, promotion and more.

For those of you new to Zazzle, if you are or were were looking for a get rich quick scheme where you could just sit and do nothing and watch the $$$ come rolling in then back away now as you need to devote time and attention to your online store. You need patience, the ability to keep on creating and to get excited everytime you see a sale, even if you only made $0.30 - It all adds up I promise you!

Zazzle Tips

The Do's and Don'ts!

The top three tips I can give you that I think really work are...

1. Don't Quit!
2. Keep adding new designs and items.
3. Repeat above steps!

To explain in a little more detail...

If you get all excited and add tons of items in the first month but then don't update your zazzle gallery after that the sales will practically dry up (if they even got started). To get sales every day you need a variety of designs/products that look great and to keep adding new items daily or weekly.

Adding and creating designs, more is better but don't go overboard. Don't have the same design on every style of shirt - You can always explain how people can create the shirt in a different color/style on the individual product page.

Also just because you can create shoes, t-shirts, skateboards etc etc etc doesnt mean you should or have to. Some people only create t-shirts or stationary. For my photography gallery I don't make shoes or shirts because I don't like how they look. If you create cute graphics with perhaps... cupcakes and mice then those will look great on shirts but might not appeal to skateboard buyers!

If you create a range of items split them up into seperate galleries. I have 3 zazzle galleries - one for my photography, one for vintage postage and one for my digital art and patterns.

Participate in the community - We're a friendly bunch who help newbies out! If you browse around all the fab designs and take the time to comment on items the store owner will likely check out your store in return. There's also the Zazzle forums if you need help...
