The Zen Alarm Clock for Progressive Awakening

A Zen alarm clock is designed to wake you peacefully even from a deep slumber. Wake to the soothing sounds of Tibetan chimes. A genuine Zen alarm clock is also decoratively styled to suit your decor. The original and Best Zen alarm clocks are produced by the Now & Zen Company of Boulder Colorado.

How Does a Zen Alarm Clock Work

A Zen alarm clock uses the sounds of Tibetan chimes to wake you from even a deep sleep. The chimes resonate for up to 30 seconds and increase in frequency based on a golden ratio progression. Each chime becomes progressively louder. The chimes sound over a 10 minute period after which the clock will chime every 5 seconds until turned off.

The clock can also be used for yoga or meditation practices. Because dreams can occur just before waking, the clock is also useful for dream work by triggering dreams at other periods during the night.

Main Features of Real Zen Alarm Clocks

  • Wake to Tibetan style chimes
  • Chimes follow golden ratio progession
  • You wake gradually and peacefully
  • Begin your day with grace
  • Ideal for yoga, dream work or meditation too
  • Attractive styling adds to decor

The Psychology of Zen

"Gradual awakening means that change and healing happen gradually as a result of the accumulation of causes. This is more the common way that healing is understood to occur. As a result of doing this and that a person gradually gets better." Reginald Pawle
