Zone Diet Delivery: Why the Chef's Diet is a Single Guy's Best Friend

Hi. My name is Charles. Julia (she's the one who owns this lens -- her picture is over there on the right) asked me stop by to talk a little bit about a new diet I discovered called the Chef's Diet. And I'm always happy to oblige whenever Julia needs a favor, so here goes...

Does this sound like you...?

I'll admit it, I'm a typical urban single who likes to head to the local coffee shop in the morning for a cappuccino and a bagel; the corner deli for lunch and either a nice restaurant with friends in the evening, or a big container of take-out alone in my apartment.

The pizza boxes and Chinese take-out containers were beginning to pile up, and so was my weight. It was time to get back into shape. So, I started hitting the gym every night after work. Of course that helped, but my eating habits were holding me back.

I asked the girls at work what new diets were out there for a guy like me. After all, if anyone knew about the newest diet crazes in the city it would be them, right? The information they began to share with me was, let's say, disturbing.

These ladies were all into counting stuff like carbs, calories and fat grams (by the way, what the heck is a fat gram?), and talking out their weight issues either in person during group meetings (are they kidding?), or online with professional "counselors."

Or, worse yet, they started cooking to lose weight. Yes, I said cooking - real meals! Knowing that none of that was for me, I headed home, figuring I was on my own.

Enter "The Zone"

Then, I heard someone on the subway talking about this great meal program that was designed to help you lose weight by providing perfectly portioned meals that followed this diet called The Zone, which helps boost your metabolism by using a 40% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 30% fat ratio for each meal.

Not much for those frozen meals (I like real food), I was skeptical. But, when I clicked onto the Chef's Diet website (go ahead and click on the link) I learned that these meals are the real thing.

Created and cooked by real chefs, Chef's Diet offers fresh meals delivered everyday (depending on where you live), or weekly for those who aren't near a major city. The stuff featured on the website -- like cinnamon sugar crepes for breakfast, Kobe beef Philly cheese steaks for lunch, and lobster tail with apple chicken sausage stuffing for dinner, looked great. No, not great. Un-freaking-believeable.

What I've found out since is that it tastes even better than it sounds. Hey, this stuff is so good, that I have to hide it from my friends when they come over!

So what's the catch?

I've been wondering the same thing since joining. But I haven't really found any. Sure, the price seems a bit steep at first at nearly $40 a day for three meals and two snacks, but hey, I was shelling out a lot more than that on take-out. And you can get lower-priced plans that start at around 10 bucks, so that's not really an issue. You should check out all of the meal plans here right now, so you'll know if it's something for you.

I guess if you were a homebody who knew how to cook something besides Ramen noodles (which, by the way, are NOT on this diet), you might find it a bit expensive. But I think that any diet that can give you delicious gourmet-style foods without any of the work - or thought - is worth every penny. Heck, I don't even have to go to the grocery store. They deliver it right to my door. What could be easier for a guy like me?

But is it working, you ask? You bet! Since beginning the Chef's Diet eating plan, I've lost nearly 20 pounds. I look and feel great. And those women at work who are into their carb- and calorie-counting? Let's just say my social life has taken a turn for the better. So what's stopping you? Get back into shape without the hassle. Try out Chef's Diet for the easiest and tastiest diet you'll ever need. You can thank me later.
