This recorder does a great job recording. The 2 biggest draw backs are the instruction book and the fact that the batteries need replacing after less than 2 hours of use.

We bought this to record our practice sessions but then we ended up taking it to a friend's show. The sound is very high quality and the interface with the computer easy to use - we think he'll be happy with his new "live CD." Also, the mic options (e.g. you can set to record only the 90' in front of the mic) allowed us to get the background clapping in between songs without much noise during the actual singing. WIth a 4GB SD we seem to have plenty of room. If you want to record and you don't absolutely need to separate each instrument track, this is a great way to go.

Ok, i bought 2 of these recorders, one of them with the accessories.

From reading other reviews...either you love it...or hate it.

Well i love it...why ? Half the price, easy to work with if you take

the time and patience to review your instructions.

I have been playing keyboads for 20 years, in bands and by myself.

Creating music is a long process, but when all clicks we create tunes after tunes. Most of the times they are not recorded and we kinda forget

some of them the next day.

But with the H4, you can easily record all you want and you dont have to

ajust 20 millions dials to get the recording.. Press a couple of things

and you are ready to go...Easy to transfer to pc and make cd's.

Quality ?? Im impressed...im sure other units can surpass but......

For the price im extremly happy and creating !!!
