Zzyzx Rd off Interstate 15 California

This road actually exists and even has two films named after it. It is not far from Baker on the Interstate from Los Angeles to Las Vegas But would it be wise to actually take this road, I mean if it was night and raining and you were running low on gas? Fortunately you don't have to as there is a YouTube Video on Zzyzx Rd below!

I've discovered a fair bit of weirdness associated with Zzyzx including an evangelist and the endangered Mohave tui chub, read more below if you dare!

Zzyzx or Burned Film

Two friends are driving to Las Vegas to spend the weekend, and one of the men, Lou (Johnson) who is driving, asks his friend Ryan (Fox) if one could get away with killing someone in the middle of nowhere. As they explore Zzyzx road, Lou teases Ryan by almost hitting a pedestrian. As Ryan complains about Lou's behavior, Lou doubles back and sets a crash course for the man that they saw on the road. Ryan grabs the wheel in the hopes to stop Lou from hitting the man, but in the end they lose control of the car and hit the man anyway. The man dies, only after whispering the words "Go home" into Lou's ear. Lou takes his identification and puts on his watch.

Zyzzyz Road Most Unsuccessful Film in History?

Only Grossed $30 on its first release

Seems to be unobtainable on DVD. This was a low budget film but had real actors including Katherine Heigl . It has gained in notoriety because of its very small gross just $30 yes that's right 30 bucks. There is link below where you can see this film online for a small fee

    Oh, wow! Will wonders ever cease? How do you pronounce that? LOVE that picture Desert Studies Center at Zzyzx, California ... I'd move there for a little reflection time or something.
